Under the patronage of the president of the University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Muhannad Jawad al-Asadi, and under the supervision of the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Nasser Samari Jaafar, the first course exams for graduate students (Masters and Ph. D.) for the academic year 2025-2026, in the Departments of plastic and performing arts, began at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Basra, on Sunday, 21/12/2025.
The exams witnessed the participation of (41) male and female master's and doctoral students in the Department of plastic arts, and (19) male and female master's and doctoral students in the Department of Performing Arts, amid a favorable organizational atmosphere provided by the college.
The assistant dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Hassanein Abdel Wahab, the examination committees and the heads of scientific departments supervised the progress of the examination process, in order to provide a sober examination environment that ensures the application of approved instructions and controls.
At the end of the exams, the Deanship of the Faculty of Fine Arts, represented by Professor Dr. Nasser Samari Jafar, expressed his wishes to the graduate students of success and success in their scientific career, stressing his continuous support for upgrading the academic and research level.
