Under the patronage of the president of the University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Mohannad Jawad al-Asadi, and under the supervision of the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Nasser Samari Jaafar, the women's Affairs Unit at the Faculty of Fine Arts organized a seminar entitled "success stories and inspiring women".
The seminar aims to shed light on the role of women in society by highlighting entrepreneurial models and influential success stories, in addition to discussing ways to empower women and enhance their abilities to face professional and personal challenges, which contributes to supporting their active presence in various fields of work.
The seminar, presented by Assistant Teacher sudid Ayed Abdul Ali, included a series of success stories of creative female models, and also touched on the importance of providing communication and training platforms that contribute to the development of women's skills and empowerment, stressing that the dissemination of inspiring experiences contributes to motivating future generations and building a more aware and supportive society for women.
The seminar concluded with a discussion session that witnessed a positive interaction from the attendees, who stressed the importance of these initiatives in enhancing the role of women and establishing a culture of success and inspiration in the university environment.
