The thesis presented by the researcher (Khaled Hamid Hassan al-waeli) aims to highlight the duality of hope and despair in the Iraqi theatrical texts.
The thesis included the theme of the duality of hope and despair, which is one of the prominent aspects in human life, it is the result of the environment in which he grew up, whether on the internal level with himself on the one hand or externally by dealing with others on the other hand, and plays an influential role in his general behavior and the resulting ambitions, setbacks, opportunities in multiple ways and mechanisms.
The thesis concluded that the duality of hope and despair lies through the existence of opposites in the collective unconscious dualities that make up the collective archetypes, as they were formed from the accumulation of society's ideas and beliefs over generations.
